‘Dubbing is nothing but murder of our culture’. It should not be allowed at any cost stated Dhuniya Vijay speaking to media persons at his Caravan on Sunday night at Turuvekere Gurubhavan Maidan.

For those who want to dub to Kannada from other languages I would say one thing – let them look after the livelihood of thousands of people who are connected to cinema and television industry.

Dubbing would snatch the work of all in the long range is the second thing. We would miss out our culture. These people one day may ask me to dub for non Kannada stars. The strong cultural roots we have receive a major blow. Like how we address and react in social life cannot come up.

Kannada and Karnataka culture is entirely different. I have seen people in the industry earn Rs.100 per day. It is the livelihood of thousands that will be at stake pointed Vijay.

We have leaders in the Kannada cinema industry. Any task given to me I would follow in this ‘Dubbing’ issue said Vijay.
